I was fascinated with yoga as a young child – leafing through my Mum’s copy of ‘The Light on Yoga’ I used to try & copy the photos. At some point I began to start classes and on moving to Bali I found a teacher who made it all click… Olop’s classes had me hooked – the increased strength, flexibility and that lovely floaty feeling after I left class…. We lived there 9 years – I am now based in the UK and have spent many years back and forth to India and Bali.

I loved that my children’s Balinese school had taught Yoga.   On completing my teacher training I trained with Teen-yoga & Mindfulness and now mainly focus on providing yoga and mindfulness sessions to young people. I strongly believe today’s youth find benefits in yoga for both calming, fitness and postural reasons – never before has life been so busy and this generation are the first to spend so much of their lives bent over a screen of some size. Yoga also helps prevent injuries in other sports – I worked with the QPR Academy teams. I run ADULT, TEEN & FAMILY yoga sessions in my own private Shala overlooking fields in Gerrards Cross; we stretch, we strengthen, we relax, we have fun…

I have studied Anatomy & Physiology, Thai Massage at The Nerve Touch Centre in Chiang Mai, Thailand, am trained in Indian Head Massage and hold Reiki 1 and Quantum Touch 1. I continue my yoga studies wherever I am and have been lucky to have some wonderful teachers in various types of yoga.

I am certified to run Mindfulness sessions for Teenagers and am also certified to run sessions for youths with behavioural challenges and am experienced in working with SEN pupils up to 18.

I am a registered Level 3 Yoga Teacher with REPS ensuring that my First Aid, insurance and CPD/IST are up to date.  I am also a registered RYT 200 teacher with Yoga Alliance UK. This accreditation demonstrates excellent standards as set by Yoga Alliance. I teach in Bucks, Berks, Herts. I am trained to teach MENOPAUSE Yoga, YOGA FOR MEN RESTORATIVE Yoga.

My other passion is swimming I teach and have swum all my life – I love the combination of yoga and swimming – both in symetry; both a moving meditation and discipline for life; both creating strength.
